below is the character application template, first explained, then given in a code. please use this template when creating a character. biographies that do not meet the minimum requirements will not be accepted, however, feel free to add on as much as you'd like. if you have questions, pm lace.

ii. gender whatever gender your character identifies as

vi. reason for name for both prefix and suffix

vii. short description a one-line description of your cat. i.e. a large golden tabby tom with blue eyes.

viii. appearance 
minimum of 200 words. please be elaborate, being sure to include any distinctive markings. please note that unusual eye color, pelt color, accessories, or handicaps are not allowed unless previously approved by a staff member. this is required even if you provide an image.

ix. personality
minimum of 250 words. be as in-depth as you can. talk about things like their likes and dislikes, fears and aspirations, what they're like alone vs with other cats, etc. remember: no mary-sues or gary-sues!

x. history
fifty words per rank at least. leaders, deputies, and medicine cat applications are expected to have at least 100 words per rank. this means if you're creating a warrior, you would have 150 words minimum- 50 for kit, 50 for apprentice, and 50 for warriors. 50 words per every additional ten moons after 25 moons of age.

xi. family
list any family they have. they may be deceased, living, npc, or put up for adoption. if not available, put n/a
